# 124 The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club (BBC)

The BBC brings you the Dorothy L. Sayers mystery The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club. Amateur detective Lord Peter Wimsey must solve the baffling case of General Fentiman's demise after he is found dead at the Bellona Club in London. Suspiciously his wealthy sister has also passed away on the very same day. Under the terms of her will, if she dies first, her fortune is to be generously divided among the General's heirs. BUT if he dies first, they are to get only a token inheritance with the rest the fortune going to another relative. It's up to Lord Peter to help resolve the legal battle between the heirs by discovering who died first.

From the BBC:
The elegant, intelligent amateur sleuth Lord Peter Wimsey is one of detective literature's most popular creations. Ian Carmichael is the personification of Dorothy L. Sayers' charming investigator in this BBC Radio full-cast dramatization. The dignified calm of the Bellona Club is shattered when Lord Wimsey finds General Fentiman dead in his favorite chair. A straight forward death by natural causes? Perhaps, but why can no one remember seeing the general the day he died? And who is the mysterious Mr. Oliver? Lord Peter moves between London and Paris, salon and suburbs, to unfold the intriguing case.
